"Recording Offset"

Writer: Loopaxe RecordsLoopaxe Records

Most people dont do this and end up feeling that they suck, meanwhile..

So do this in your daw of choice with your interface of choice. I recommend 48khz 24bit as alot of interfaces has offset error handling at 44.1.

This has nothing to do with recording settings, those we know, this is to compensate for handling errors which many many many consumer interfaces have, so even if you reckon your interface is good ot might still have a offset handling error.

When you fix this, what you hear when you record is what you will hear when you play it back sample accurately.

My interface's handling error is -50 samples so I have to set it at +50 samples.

I hope everyone I work with has a better time feeling the feel you put down when recording.

Thanks for reading this, now go do it!
